Prepping is great the day before but if you really want the best tan, start the week before and exfoliate every night. The fresher that skin cells the better the outcome. 24 hours prior, Exfoliate the skin dry or wet (dry brushing helps the elasticity in our skin layers to give you tighter skin, so bye-bye cellulite and loose skin) then shave like normal. Do not moisturize, you want fresh skin the next day for your tan. Do not shower before your tan. This will open your pores and will leave you with strawberry skin, and no one wants that.

Make sure there are no lotions, perfumes, makeup, deodorant on the skin. It creates a barrier and can cause discoloration and fading patches.
Please wear loose fitting clothes such as a large t-shirt, pajama pants and flip flops. These items of clothing will help keep your tan from streaking or rubbing. This can cause the tan to be discolored in some spots if you have on tight clothes. No Bra, Underwear is fine if you tanned in them, is what I recommend.
Set a timer for your rinse time. Rinse in warm water and just the water wash the bronzer away. Please make sure you let your tan develope for a full 24 hours before you take a normal shower with soap. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out.
Be mindful of the clothes you wear; tight clothing and shoes can rub your tan and speed up the fading process. You may show signs of fading faster in those areas where your clothing rubbed. if you
Up your water intake! My tans are plant based and plants love water, and it helps the skin stay moisturized and supple.
Use moisturizing products like Sun bum, Beauty kitchen, CereVe, Shea Moisture, Hempz, and Alba Botanica.
Hot tubes, hot showers, loofahs, washcloths, bar soaps, mineral oils.
If you must shave after your tan, make sure you use a new razor
